Several weeks ago, yours truly was standing on a Washington, D.C. Metro train, engaged in the incredibly gauche act of reading Thomas Friedman’s “The World Is Flat” five years after its publication, when I noticed a paragraph particularly relevant to the enterprise of TheFinalPrint. “Freelancers,” Friedman’s photographer friend spits, surprised. “We are now competing against freelancers!”
That’s right, freelancers are the wave of the future. But you all already knew that. This whole anecdote is just a roundabout way of underscoring the power of a creative mind with access to a computer.
